About me
Stacey is a decorated law enforcement leader with over 30 years of service. He began in the U.S. Air Force as a Law Enforcement Security Specialist, serving in elite protection roles at NORAD and deploying to Panama and Iraq. After an Honorable Discharge, he joined the Garden City, Kansas Police Department, rising to Sergeant and overseeing investigations. Whle serving the Springfield MO Police Department, Stacey advanced through roles in organized crime, terrorism, and crimes against persons. He trained Iraqi police in Baghdad under a U.S. DOJ program before returning to lead units in property crimes, traffic, and intelligence. Promoted through the ranks to Major, he has commanded both Investigations and Uniform Operations Bureaus, including specialized teams and community services. As Senior Commander, Stacey frequently serves as Acting Chief of Police, demonstrating strategic leadership, operational excellence, and a lifelong commitment to public safety. Stacey is the College Director of Safety and Sercurity and he has eaarned a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Columbia College and a Masters Degree in Sociology and Criminal Justice from Lincolnd University, Jefferson City.
