This is the VIRTUAL option for those attending the conference virtually. If you are attending in-person on the Springfield Campus, do not add this session to your schedule.  In-person attendees should add the "IN-PERSON" session to their schedule.

Session Description
Based on the groundbreaking work of Dr. Murray Bowen, founder of Family Systems Theory, this workshop will explore the ways leaders, teachers, and mentors often blur the line between empowering and enabling. Participants will examine how to demonstrate compassion while maintaining accountability, foster resilience in students and team members, manage the tensions that arise from setting healthy boundaries, and self-regulate in the midst of emotional turbulence.
